Use this email template to reschedule an interview with candidates if the hiring process has been interrupted for some reason. 


Briefly explain your reasons for changing the date of your interview. Be clear that you are not canceling your interview but simply rescheduling it. Suggest possible dates and times that are suitable for the interview. 


If you are aware of the need to reschedule a few days or weeks in advance, email the candidate. If you have to reschedule right before the interview, a phone call is best, as the candidate may not have time to check their emails but likely has their phone nearby.
