Who is a mail processor?


A mail processor is a professional who moves and sorts out mail in preparation for distribution. They utilize machinery like conveyor belts or trucks to move out stacks of letters around before their final destination has been designated.


What does a mail processor do?


A mail process handles all the incoming and outgoing mails while also checking the mechanized dumpers and mail processing machines while also maintaining cleanliness in the working spaces.


Job brief


We are looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented processor who has multiple experiences in shipping and receiving to support our organization’s tasks. In addition, you should also be aware of basic arithmetic skills and own a driver’s license to meet the basic qualification of the said position.


Duties and Responsibilities


The duties and responsibilities include the following:


  •       Maintain mailroom supplies
  •       Calling courier services
  •       Packing of promotional materials
  •       Distributing mail to various carriers
  •       Operating forklifts
  •       Unloading trucks, weighing incoming sacks and moving mail bags


Key Requirements


The key requirements can be provided as follows:

  •       Proven work experience as a mail processor or a similar role
  •       Valid driver’s license
  •       High school diploma or equivalent degree
  •       Basic arithmetic skills
  •       Basic computer skills
